CRM at SAGIA
From an early age Lama developed an interest in matters of international relations, this was due to her father’s occupation as a diplomat. After her graduation this influenced her to peruse a career in SAGIA the Saudi Arabian general investment authority, setting the outline of future foreign investment in the kingdom and in the same time take up a Master degree in international affairs and diplomacy from the American University in the Emirates. On an international scale Lama is one of 360 global citizens chosen to tackle the UN sustainable developmental goals and present a project concerning ( SDG1) ending extreme poverty in the UN headquarters in NYC. She is also a delegate in an elite leadership program founded by the Prince of Wales, which aims to develop young leaders and help them evolve their local communities. In addition, Lama is a founding member of the national Saudi female fencing team; she officially participated in a championship held in Sharja as the first ever female fencing team representing the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and paving the way for future Saudi females to participate in sports. Lama is currently a co-founder of Talga a local NGO which aims to find sustainable solutions for social and economic problems in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Her ultimate goal is to become a true public servant and reflect a positive image about herself and her country.
